Awhile ago, I wrote a post about iTunes 9 and how Apple had completely uglified it. Now, Apple has released an update, 9.0.2, that resolves one of my complaints: the eye-shieldingly white Grid View background:
AGH! MY EYES!
Compare that to the new iTunes 9, with the option for a dark background:
Yay! I can see again!
Now, doesn’t that look better, Apple? The option is under Preferences -> General.
Apple didn’t just update iTunes for the dark background option, however. The update was really to keep iTunes up to speed with the new fugly Apple TV interface, which for some reason I’m not going to talk about.
