A New 17-inch iMac?

March 21st, 2009

Apple / Mac, Miscellaneous

Apple may be about to introduce a new iMac. This image from Apple’s eNews publication talks about a new 17-inch iMac starting at $899:

It may only be for schools, however.

What do you think? Would you buy one?

Update: Turns out the “new” iMac is actually the old polycarbonate 17-incher from 2007 that Apple’s reincarnating and it’s only for schools and colleges:

Apple’s store still only has the 20 and 24-inch models. Hopefully it’ll show up soon.

Whoooa! That’s a good deal. I’d probably buy one if turned out to be open to the public, and not certain schools or organizations. That’s a great deal.

If its from apple and it costs less than $1000, I’m getting it (doesn’t include the old plastic macbook)
